Quinn Deskins 70, of Kermit, West Virginia passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017, at his home. He was born in Mingo County, West Virginia on November 11, 1946, to the late Quinn Sr. and Gladys Deskins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Tony Deskins, one grandson, Alex Deskins and two siblings, Hobart and Reda. Quinn is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Sue Deskins of Kermit, West Virginia, his son, Craig (Dee Dee) Deskins, three grandsons, Jordan, Austin and Anakin Deskins, brothers, William T. and Russell and sisters, Ethel, Mary, Midge and Wanda along with a host of nieces and nephews. Quinn was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Sears as a service repairman. Funeral services will be held at the Warfield Chapel of the Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield, Kentucky on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 12:00 pm with Clyde Farley and Fred Lovins officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Memory Gardens in Maher, West Virginia. Friends may visit at the chapel on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 6:00-9:00 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
