Patricia "June" Bowen age 75 of Columbus went to be with the love of her life Arnold Lee "Chubby" Bowen and her son Thurman Keith May on Sunday, March 5, 2017. She was born in West Virginia on January 2, 1942 to the late Edward and Mildred Ratliff. June is preceded in Death by Husband Arnold Lee Bowen, Son Thurman Keith May, Parents Edward and Mildred Ratliff, Brother n laws Columbus Bowen Jr., Virgil Bowen, Paul Bowen, Sister N Laws Opal Bowen, Judy Ratliff, Nephews Argil Ray Johnson, Garland Johnson, Wes Swain and Paul Bowen Jr Survived by Daughter Callie "Sissy" (Michael) Smith, Allison (George) Gray, Grandchildren Eric Smith, Chase Gray, Olivia Gray Siblings Sarah (Dave)Whitt, Danny Ratliff, Sue (Pete) Swain.....Many Cousins and nephews and nieces that she loved like her own children. Her heart was broken on December 12th 2006 when she lost her Soul Mate, Beat Friend and Husband and on February 5,2017 she lost her first baby her son at that point the heart was finished. She lived for her family. She loved her God. She kept her door open to all whether a hot meal, clean bed or just great memories. She Laughed, Loved and Cared she left a wonderful example of being a Wife, Mother, Sister, and Aunt that memories will last. Funeral services will be held at the Vineyard United Baptist Church in Inez, Kentucky on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 2:00pm with David Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at the Bowen Cemetery in Inez, Kentucky. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday starting at 11:00am until time of service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
