John David Callaham

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that in the early morning hours of April 26th, we lost our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. John David Callaham 60, of Tomahawk, Kentucky passed away at his home. He was born at Louisville, Kentucky on January 25, 1958 to Sara Prather Callaham and the late John Benton Callaham. J.D is survived by his mother, Sara Callaham; one daughter, Emily (Nick Endicott) Callaham; one granddaughter, Heidi Callaham and an unborn grandson, Branson Keith; three siblings, Kelly and Donna Callaham, Joan Callaham and Russ and Trish Callaham, along with several nieces and nephews, Keli and James Ayers, Jonathan and Brittany Callaham, Danielle Spence, Zachary and Ashlie Callaham, Cassie and Toy Adams and Lexie Callaham; and five great nieces and nephews, Kyler and Kaleb Callaham, Marlie Dingess, Kinslee Callaham and Macie Callaham and one aunt, Donna Sue Cassady. He is also survived by cousins, Mike Cassady, Carlos Cassady, Scott, Nick and Dava West and special friends and caregivers, Mari Fraley, Frank Stacy, Rex Endicott and Johnny Marcum, along with all of his Rockhouse friends. Funeral services will be held at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, Kentucky on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00am with Samuel Schmidt officiating and special words from Dr. E.J. Horn. Burial will follow at the Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be, Jonathan Callaham, Zachary Callaham, Ransom Cornette, James Arthur Horn, Anthony Little, Dusty Ward, Phillip Crum, Teddy Coleman, Randy Sluss, Richard Mooney, James Ray Fields, Jerry Wright and Rob Fraley. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 6:00-9:00pm. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky
