James Lewis Hinkle 70, of Beauty, KY; passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Kings' Daughter's Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born July 5, 1946 in Beauty, KY to the late Floyd and Victoria Crum Hinkle. He is preceded in death by his sisblings; Elmer, Jay, Floyd Jr., Willie Hinkle, Pricie Preece, Sara Stanley, Elizabeth Cook, Hattie Pack, Gladolia Arthur, Edna Hinkle, and Minnie Hinkle. Lewis was a retired Coal miner having worked for the Wolf Creek Collier Mines and was a United States Veteran of the Vietnam War. Lewis leaves behind his two siblings; Nellie Copley of Hager Hill, KY and Eddie Hinkle of Beauty, KY as well as his companion for 16 years, Lana Turner and several nieces, nephews, friends, and family. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez Chapel with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Jay Hinkle Cemetery of Beauty, KY. Visitation will be Sunday and Monday from 6-9pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.
